Doganlar Crushed Stone Production Facility has been in operation since 2013, in Doruca, avillage in Kilis Province’s Musabeyli district, near the Turkish-Syrian border. The facility consists of a limestone quarry, and uses “open-pit mining method” in operation. The rock is exploded (blown up) with the help of the explosives placed in the regularly spaced holes on the terraced steps around the facility pit. The loose limestone is then loaded on the trucks with the help of excavators, and transported to the Crushed Stone Production Facility located 800 meters away. The explosions are controlled and performed with utmost sensitivity to the environment. The necessary measurements and inspections are done regularly by the expert teams.

The relatively big products obtained after the explosion go through a 3-step crushing-selection process, and are grouped based on their grain diameters. They are delivered to the customer after passing through the 80-ton weighbridge.
